Unfortunately Avenged Sevenfold will not be part of BSP's Friday night lineup, after all. The band has apparently cancelled all of their September tour dates due to lead singer Shadows having been diagnosed with "vocal fatigue." The band does plan to resume their tour later in October.
I know many of you will be disappointed to hear this, but just remember, a singer with vocal fatigue is risking permanent damage if they persist in performing with the condition. We wish Shadows a speedy recovery. In the meantime, there will still be plenty of hard driving rock at the WZYP stage on Friday, with Saving Abel, Shinedown and Buckcherry.
No word yet on if there will be a replacement act for Avenged Sevenfold. My guess is no, but I've been second guessed before.
