August 27, 2008 - Big Spring Jam XVI Weekend Schedule

Big Spring Jam XVI is set to light up Tennessee Valley nights as it returns this September 26th though 28th to Big Spring International Park in downtown Huntsville. The Southeast's premiere music festival celebrates its 16th year with the announcement of its most impressive weekend schedule yet. The line up is packed full of entertainment including over forty artists on three stages. Country, classic rock, hip-hop, Christian and modern rock music genres are all represented with top-notch acts including STYX, T-Pain, Kenny Rogers, Buckcherry, MercyMe, Kansas, the Nashville MusikMafia and many more.

Friday Night, September 26th
The WDRM stage will feature a patriotic evening as Lee Greenwood performs at 7:15, followed by country standout Chris Cagle. The Gambler himself, Kenny Rogers, headlines the stage at 10:15 pm.
The Huntsville Havoc Stage will feature Edwin McCain at 9:15 and then rocks the night out with STYX at 10:30 pm.
The WZYP Stage will blow crowds away at 7:15 with Shinedown. Avenged Sevenfold follows at 8:45 before modern rock super-stars Buckcherry take the stage at 10:15 pm.

Saturday Night, September 27th
Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish will get the party started at 7:30 as he plays to fans at the WDRM stage. He is followed by the rowdy sounds of Nashville's MusikMafia featuring Cowboy Troy at 9:15, John Rich at 9:30 and the Redneck Woman, Gretchen Wilson, at 10:30 pm.
Rock and Roll will be alive and well at the Huntsville Havoc Stage as Sister Hazel performs at 7:30, followed by rock legends Kansas at 9:00 and .38 Special at 10:30 pm.
The WZYP Stage features Hightide Blues at 6:30 and Tantric at 7:45 before hip-hop mega-star T-Pain owns the stage at 10:30 pm.

Sunday Night, September 28th
The WDRM Stage rounds out a great musical weekend with the sounds of Eric Church at 6:30, Joe Nichols at 7:45 and crowd favorite Blake Shelton at 9:00 pm.
Fans won't want to miss the last night of great entertainment on the Huntsville Havoc Stage as MercyMe performs at 5:45, The Guess Who at 7:15 and Three Dog Night at 9:00 pm.
Drivin' n' cryin' plays on the WZYP stage at 5:45 followed by Corey Smith at 7:15. Hinder closes out the WZYP stage at 9:00 pm as they sing hits like "Lips of an Angel".

Tickets for the festival are available NOW for purchase via www.bigspringjam.org. Three-Day Passes are $45. Individual Day Passes can be purchased in advance for $25 online at www.bigspringjam.org and at the gate for $30. There are a limited amount of Jam Fan Weekend passes available for $60 each which allow Jam Fan ticket holders to enter the gates 30 minutes before the rest of the crowd. The Jam Fan Passes are available only online at www.bigspringjam.org before the Jam.

There are numerous corporate ticket outlets to be announced and the Jam encourages other companies throughout North Alabama and Southern Tennessee to support the event by becoming a ticket outlet. Interested companies should contact the Big Spring Jam Ticket Office at (256) 551-2209.
